Constitution

We the students of Western Carolina University do hereby assemble to form the Western Carolina University Organization of Ebony Students. We assemble to uphold the equality and basic human freedoms that every  man, woman, and child is endowed with at birth. The Organization of Ebony shall uphold the dignity, pride, cultural awareness of African-American Students through the promotion of social, civil, and educational activities. Membership to this Organization is open to all students regardless of race, national origin, religion, sex, age, disability, or sexual orientation. The spirit of life adn liberty is the hypostasis of this organization and the uplifting of the spirits of Western Carolina University students as a whole its primary obligation.
